Rosenheim District hosts student exchanges from Romania and Australia
Two student groups recently visited the Rosenheim District administration to participate in an international exchange program. The visiting groups included students and teachers from the Nikolaus-Lenau-Gymnasium in Timișoara, Romania, and Bright P-12 College from Bright, Australia.
Organized by the Wirtschaftsschule Alpenland in Bad Aibling, the program facilitates connections between the Rosenheim and Timișoara districts. Rosenheim District Administrator Otto Lederer welcomed the students, emphasizing the importance of interpersonal exchange for the European idea and the value of building friendships during youth.
The Nikolaus-Lenau-Gymnasium is a German-language school in Timișoara that offers the German Abitur, qualifying students for university studies in Germany. The exchange itinerary includes visits to the Bavarian State Parliament and the Bad Aibling thermal baths.
