Roseto degli Abruzzi approves boat mooring and launching assignments

The municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi has approved the rankings and assignments for public spaces dedicated to the launching, docking, and mooring of boats. This administrative measure follows the definitive approval of the new Municipal Maritime Domain Plan (PDMC) in July 2026.

A total of 54 parking spaces have been assigned across three strategic coastal locations:

• Cologna Spiaggia (South Promenade): 18 spots for recreational boating and 3 for small-scale fishing. • Lungomare Trento: 13 recreational boating spots assigned out of 18 available. • Lungomare Trieste: 20 spots assigned out of 33 available.

Under municipal regulations, occupancy is set for five years for recreational vessels and eight years for professional fishers, aligning with fishing license validity. Local officials stated that the reorganization aims to provide certainty to operators and improve the transparency and livability of the coastline.
