Rosie O'Donnell credits Mounjaro GLP‑1 drug for weight loss

Rosie O'Donnell, 64, said the GLP‑1 medication Mounjaro "saved my life" after she began taking it around the time she was diagnosed with type‑2 diabetes three years ago. She reports losing about a pound or two each month for three years, totaling roughly 60 lb, and says she feels "much healthier and more powerful" in her physicality. O'Donnell recalled that after her mother’s death in 1973 her family struggled with weight gain, describing how she and her siblings shopped on a $100 budget and ate inexpensive, high‑calorie foods.

She expressed frustration with the drug’s cost, wishing she could appear in commercials that would lower the price, and noted that the medication helped quiet her "food noise." Following her weight loss, O'Donnell also underwent a deep‑plane facelift to address facial changes from the pounds she shed.
