Rosie O’Donnell to join Broadway's 'The Rocky Horror Show

Rosie O’Donnell will join the Broadway revival of ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ for a two-week engagement in October. She is set to perform the role of the Narrator, replacing Rachel Dratch, who is taking a short leave from the production.

O’Donnell’s run will begin on Tuesday, October 6, and continue through Sunday, October 18. The production, currently staged at Studio 54 and directed by Sam Pinkleton, has received favorable reviews and earned nine Tony Award nominations.

This marks a return to Broadway for O’Donnell, whose previous stage credits include roles in ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘Seussical’, and the 1994 revival of ‘Grease’.
