Rosignano Solvay hosts “Svuota Soffitta” sustainability event

The “Svuota Soffitta” event is returning to Rosignano Solvay, scheduled for Sunday, September 6, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Held at Piazza della Repubblica within the Social Agorà spaces, the initiative focuses on reuse, waste reduction, and the promotion of circular economy practices.

The event allows citizens to engage in occasional buying and selling of used goods of modest value, as well as bartering and donating items such as toys, books, clothing, and small household goods. Participants also have the option to reserve space for free donations to encourage community sharing. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo in collaboration with REA Risorse Ambientali S.p.A. and supported by various local associations, including Rifiuti Zero, Pro Loco, Rotary Club, Pubblica Assistenza, Legambiente Costa Etrusca, and the Italian Red Cross.
