Rosoboronexport launches Nerekhta-E multipurpose combat robot
Rosoboronexport, a subsidiary of the Rostec State Corporation, has launched the Nerekhta-E multipurpose unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) on the international market. Developed by the Degtyarev Plant, the Nerekhta-E is the first Russian combat robot to undergo and pass comprehensive state testing.
The vehicle features a tracked platform with a hybrid propulsion system designed to optimize stealth. The use of electric motors reduces noise and thermal signatures, providing a tactical advantage in reconnaissance and combat. The Nerekhta-E is designed for modularity, allowing it to be reconfigured for various missions including combat, reconnaissance, transport, and medical evacuation.
Technical specifications include a maximum speed of 20 kilometers per hour, with an operational autonomy of four hours of continuous movement or up to twenty hours in observation mode. Depending on the configuration, the robot can carry up to one ton of cargo and be equipped with various armaments, such as the 12.7mm Kord machine gun, the AG-30M automatic grenade launcher, or anti-tank missiles. The system is intended for use in both open fields and urban environments to reduce personnel risk during combat and counter-terrorism operations.
