Ross Smith wins World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam

Ross Smith won the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam, defeating Gerwyn Price 11-5 in the final held at AFAS Live. This victory marks Smith’s second major PDC World Tour title, following his 2022 European Championship win.

The match was closely contested initially, reaching a 5-5 tie. However, Smith took control after the interval, securing six consecutive legs, including clinical checkouts of 123 and 127. Smith finished with an average of 103.89 and hit 11 maximums (180s) during the tournament.

To reach the final, Smith defeated Kevin Doets, Daryl Gurney, Josh Rock, and Gian van Veen. Price, a two-time former winner of this event, reached the final by overcoming James Wade and Jonny Clayton. The tournament also saw the early exit of world number one Luke Littler in the quarter-finals.
