Rossano to host VAR program discussion on tourism and local news
The twentieth episode of the VAR program, hosted by Deborah Ferraina, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM. The event will be held at Attimi On Ice in Piazza Nassiriya, located on the seafront of Lido Sant’Angelo in Rossano.
The program will feature two main discussion topics. The first segment will focus on the summer tourism season in the Sibaritide and Corigliano-Rossano regions, evaluating results, identifying challenges for operators and visitors, and discussing necessary improvements for local services and attractiveness. The second segment will address the role of local journalism and its importance in documenting community changes and facilitating public debate.
Attendance is free of charge, though prior reservation is required. The event will also be broadcast live via Facebook, the Informazione & Comunicazione website, and Radio Calabria.
