Rossini Opera Festival announces 2027 edition

The Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro has announced its 2027 edition. As part of the ongoing programming, the 2026 festival will feature performances of ‘Il viaggio a Reims’ at the Teatro Rossini on August 16 and 19.

These performances are part of the Festival Giovane, which utilizes young voices trained at the Accademia Rossiniana ‘Alberto Zedda’. The production is directed by Emilio Sagi and revived by Matteo Anselmi, with musical direction by Sieva Borzak conducting the Filarmonica Gioachino Rossini. The August 16 performance will be streamed live via OperaVision and Opera Europa.
