Rossland to host Golden City Days and Arts & Culture Festival

Rossland is preparing for several community celebrations in September 2026, including Golden City Days and an annual Arts & Culture Festival.

Golden City Days, scheduled from September 10 to September 13, features a variety of events such as a parade on Jubilee Street, a fall fair at the Rossland Arena, and a tee-ball tournament. Other activities include a costume contest at Rossland Beer Co., a pancake breakfast hosted by local firefighters, and the return of the Golden City Grind Fun Run. The Rossland Museum will participate with special open-by-donation days on September 12-13, offering gold panning, scavenger hunts, and guided outdoor tours.

The Arts & Culture Festival will take place on September 26-27 on the museum lawn. In partnership with the Rossland IncrEdible Market, the festival will showcase Kootenay artisans and performers through live music, artist demonstrations, and vendor booths. This year also introduces the InspiRed Mountain Community Art Competition, a juried art show held in partnership with the Rossland Council for Arts & Culture.
