Rossmann launches new logistics hub in Emstek, Germany

Rossmann is constructing a new regional logistics centre in Emstek, Germany. The 22,000 m² warehouse and 11,000 m² office space will serve up to 250 Rossmann stores and handle around 60 daily truck deliveries. The facility will store 26,000 pallets and about 6,000 product lines, with voice‑controlled industrial carts used for order picking. Renewable‑energy measures include rooftop photovoltaic panels, on‑site energy storage and heat‑pump systems to meet the centre’s power needs. The project, developed with Mercurius Industrial Properties and built by GEwerk, is slated for completion in October 2027.
