Rostkowo to host jubilee celebrations for St. Stanislaus Kostka

On Sunday, August 16, Rostkowo will host the inauguration of the Jubilee Year marking the 300th anniversary of the canonization of Saint Stanislaus Kostka. The celebrations will be led by Archbishop Antonio Guido Filipazzi, the Apostolic Nuncio in Poland, alongside several bishops from the Płock Diocese.

The event features a solemn procession of the saint's relics, which will depart from the parish church in Przasnysz—the site of his baptism—via a horse-drawn carriage. Upon reaching the borders of Rostkowo, the relics will join a procession of participants from across the diocese to the local church.

A central jubilee Mass will be held in Rostkowo. In connection with the upcoming 300th anniversary in 2026, the Apostolic Penitentiary has granted the faithful the opportunity to obtain a plenary indulgence by visiting designated jubilee churches and meeting specific spiritual conditions.
