Rostock Casino Expands with New Gaming Hall Amid German Casino Developments

A new casino in Rostock, Mecklenburg‑Vorpommern, has opened a 200 sqm gaming hall after construction delays. The project cost more than €2.2 million, exceeding the original budget, and now hosts poker tournaments, jackpot parties and classic casino games.

In Berlin, a separate development features a large underground parking facility that includes an internet café and multiple gaming tables. The venue offers eight poker tables, a variety of roulette and bingo machines, and plans to host regular tournaments. Investment in the Berlin site is reported at around €100,000, with the operator managing several locations across the city.

Both projects reflect a broader trend of expanding casino and gaming facilities in Germany, combining traditional gambling offerings with additional hospitality services such as cafés and event spaces.
