Rostock court updates schedule in Fabian murder trial

The murder trial regarding Fabian from Güstrow has seen new developments involving video evidence and a revised judicial schedule. During a recent session at the Rostock District Court, three secret videos recorded by a driveway camera near Klein Upahl were presented. These clips, filmed around the time Fabian's body was discovered, show vehicle activity in the area. One video specifically depicts an orange Ford Ranger traveling toward the woods on the morning of October 14, a vehicle model matching the one driven by the defendant, Gina H.

However, the evidentiary value of the footage is being contested, as the videos do not clearly show license plates, drivers, or specific makes for all vehicles.

The court has also updated its timeline. A psychological expert report, originally expected on October 5, will now be heard on October 8. Following the presentation of telecommunications surveillance data and closing arguments in late October, the court anticipates a possible oral verdict by November 10, 2026.
