Rotary Club Cassino hosts 41st Golini Petrarcone Award ceremony

The Rotary Club Cassino held the 41st edition of the Vincenzo Golini Petrarcone Award at the Sala degli Abati. The award was presented to Giacinto Iadecola, a student at the Giosuè Carducci Classical Lyceum, for outstanding academic achievements during the 2023–2026 three-year period.

Named after the club’s first president, the award aims to connect education, merit, and civic responsibility. The ceremony featured a keynote address by Carabinieri General Pasquale Angelosanto, former commander of the ROS. Angelosanto discussed the expansion of mafia organizations and the critical importance of legality and social awareness among younger generations.

Attendees included Cassino Mayor Enzo Salera, Rotary International District 2080 Governor Bartolomeo Bove, and the Rector of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Marco Dell’Isola, alongside various civil and military authorities.
