Rotary Club chapters provide aid to disability support initiatives
Rotary Club chapters in Paraguay and Argentina have conducted separate charitable initiatives to support individuals with disabilities.
In Encarnación, Paraguay, the Rotary Club Encarnación Norte donated ten wheelchairs to the Centro de Ayuda al Discapacitado Encarnación (CENADE). This donation was facilitated through the United States-based Wheelchair Foundation. The initiative aims to improve mobility and quality of life for community members through international cooperation.
In Bernal, Argentina, the Rotary Club de Ezpeleta provided new clothing and footwear to the productive enterprise Juntos En Marcha. Located in the Quilmes district, this project focuses on the labor inclusion of young people with disabilities. The initiative, founded by local mothers, supports the group's gastronomic work in producing and selling empanadas to foster economic autonomy.
