Rotary Club inaugurates water storage project in Clavellina

The Rotary Club of Dajabón has inaugurated a new potable water project in the community of Clavellina. The infrastructure includes a 30,000-gallon water storage tank and the installation of over two kilometers of two-inch piping to improve water distribution for local residents.

The project was supported by the Rotary Clubs of Dajabón, Everett, and Arlington, with additional assistance from the Rotary International Foundation. Technical design and specifications were managed by engineer Roberto Valdez.

During the inauguration, community leader Antonia Regalado and Water Committee president Luis Domínguez highlighted the long-standing efforts to resolve the area's water supply issues. Claudio Espinal, president of the Rotary Club of Dajabón for the 2026-2027 period, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between organizations and communities to provide concrete solutions to local needs.
