Rotary Club Marigliano announces historical cycling tour

The Rotary Club Marigliano “Adrianea” has announced the first edition of the “Archeopedalata da Avella a Marigliano,” scheduled for October 11, 2026. This cycling tour aims to combine sustainable mobility with historical discovery and solidarity.

The route will take participants through significant historical and archaeological sites, starting from the Roman Amphitheater of Avella, passing through the Early Christian Basilicas of Cimitile and the Amphitheater of Nola, and concluding at the Convent of San Vito in Marigliano. The initiative is organized in collaboration with FIAB Campania, the Club Alpino Italiano, and several other cycling and rotary organizations.

Beyond promoting cycle tourism, the event serves a charitable purpose. All proceeds from participation fees will be dedicated to a sensory inclusion project designed to implement installations at archaeological sites.
