Rotary Club summer gathering and local art evenings unite Italian towns
Members of the Rotary Club Valle Telesina held a mid‑summer evening in the historic amphitheater of Castelvenere, combining a guided tour of the town’s underground wine cellars with a tasting event organized by the local Pro Loco. Professor Raffaele Simone led the historical presentation, and participants enjoyed the “Morsi e Sorsi” celebration of regional food and wine.
In Senigallia, the "Acquerelli in RIMA al mare" series continued throughout July and August, offering artists aged 9 to 99 the chance to paint water‑colours on the city’s seafront. Hosted by the Iobook bookstore and Officina Fantastica Atelier, each session includes poetry readings, themed subjects drawn from the coastal landscape, and supplies such as water‑colours and illustration books.
Both events reflect a growing emphasis on community‑focused cultural activities across small Italian towns during the summer months.
