Rotary Club Vibo Valentia donates lighting for Basilica di San Domenico
The Rotary Club Vibo Valentia has donated fourteen high-efficiency floodlights to illuminate the Ancient Basilica of San Domenico in Soriano Calabro, Italy. The initiative aims to enhance and preserve the historical and spiritual heritage of the Calabria region.
The project was proposed by Father Rosario Licciardello, the rector of the basilica, and was supported by local companies Energy Srl and Weld. The official handover took place during a religious celebration presided over by Fra Sergio Maria Catalano, Provincial Prior of the Order of Preachers.
Club President Mariangela Preta described the donation as a team effort intended to care for a site that holds the memory and identity of the local territory, making its beauty more visible to the community.
