Rotary Clubs and Red Cross launch community health initiatives in Mexico and Colombia

In Mexico, 18 Rotary Clubs are organizing a health fair in the municipality of Ahumada to address the lack of local medical services. The event, scheduled for Sunday at the Bertha Chiu Municipal Gymnasium, will offer over 30 specialized services. These include general and pediatric consultations, cataract and strabismus surgeries, hearing aids, prosthetics, and visual acuity testing. The state Health Secretariat will also provide vaccinations for humans and pets.

In Colombia, the Colombian Red Cross Nariño Section has reopened its healthcare provider (IPS) in Pasto. Located in the Santiago de Pasto neighborhood, the facility aims to provide humanitarian-focused medical care. The service offering includes general medicine, dentistry, clinical laboratory services, and vaccinations.
