Rotary Clubs host community service and health initiatives in Italy

Rotary Clubs in Italy held recent community events focused on service and health initiatives. In Isola d’Elba, the Rotary Club hosted a gathering at the Hotel Désirée to foster connections with visiting members and discuss local healthcare advancements. A key focus of the meeting was a telemedicine project presented by Dr. Guido Vagheggini, aimed at improving access to specialist care for island residents to reduce the need for travel to the mainland.

In Budoni, the Rotary Clubs of Nuoro and Siniscola organized the fourteenth annual “Brindiamo sotto le Stelle di Ottiolu” charity event. This initiative supports the Global Polio Eradication Program and other humanitarian projects. The event featured donations from 31 local wineries and food producers, alongside contributions from private citizens and the Italian Sommelier Association.
