Rotary leadership handovers in Tolentino and Cortemaggiore, Italy
Governor Stefano Gobbi, district 2090 Rotary International governor and local doctor, visited the Rotary Club of Tolentino. He met the club board, was presented with the Rotary Foundation’s Grande Donatore pin together with his wife Susanna Felicetti, and paid tribute to the late honorary member Franco Moschini, highlighting the club’s focus on member involvement and lasting community impact.
The Rotary Club of Cortemaggiore‑Pallavicino completed a leadership transition, with outgoing president Fabio Callori handing the role to Tiziana Benzi for the 2026‑2027 Rotary year. The ceremony recalled a range of service projects carried out during the previous term, including the Quiet Room for autistic and visually impaired individuals in Piacenza’s cathedral, a polio‑eradication awareness event, wheelchair tennis, the distribution of over 40,000 food packages, library cataloguing, a school water‑and‑energy initiative, a water‑purifier donation, a road‑safety education program for students, and a drug‑collection drive for Venezuela.
