Rotary organizations launch youth sports and community service initiatives

Rotary-affiliated organizations are hosting community-focused events in Panama and Venezuela. In David, Chiriquí, the Rotary Club of David has launched the Rotary Children's 7-a-side Football League. The tournament features 23 teams representing various public and private schools, involving 325 children and youths. The competition includes 14 male and 9 female teams, with the championship scheduled to conclude on August 14, 2026.

In Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela, the Rotaract Puerto Ordaz club is organizing a social and recreational event in the Cambalache sector. Aimed at supporting approximately 70 vulnerable children, the initiative includes group games, a community soup, and gift distributions to celebrate Children's Day. The club is currently seeking donations of food and supplies to facilitate the activity.
