Rotondella hosts inaugural Abball Popular Music Festival

The inaugural edition of the Abball Popular Music Festival has concluded in Rotondella. Held from August 7 to 9, the event transformed the town's historic center into a hub for music, training, and social interaction.

Organized by the association Intorno, the festival featured a mix of live performances and educational workshops. Participants included dancers, children, and adults engaging in folk culture studies, including a popular singing workshop led by Niulà. Musical acts included Sanda Lucì’, Sckattacorë, Acustica, A’ Paranza ro’ Tramuntan, Hiram Salsano, Battista Band, the Montemarano tarantella school, and Li Sënaturë di Ostuni.

The festival drew attendees from various Italian regions, notably Florence, contributing to local economic vitality and fostering a sense of community through shared cultural experiences.
