Rototom Sunsplash celebrates 31st anniversary in Benicàssim

The Rototom Sunsplash festival is launching its 31st anniversary in Benicàssim, Spain. To mark the occasion, organizers have introduced a new eight-hour Welcome Party featuring emerging national talent, including winners from the ‘Rumbo a Rototom’ project: Mountain Tops, Sotabosc, and Iyaman Pablo & Irie Reggae Vibes.

Festival director Filippo Giunta expects daily attendance of approximately 25,000 people, with attendees arriving from 100 different countries. Major international presence is expected from France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.

Additionally, ReggaeRevolution.it will host the world premiere of the Reggae Calendar 2027 at the festival. This cultural and charitable project features over 650 dates related to reggae history, artists, and festivals. All proceeds from the calendar will be donated to charitable projects in Jamaica and Ethiopia.
