Rototom Sunsplash festival returns to Benicàssim in August 2026

The 31st edition of the Rototom Sunsplash festival is scheduled to take place from August 16 to 22, 2026, in Benicàssim, Spain. Operating under the motto ‘The place to be’, the event remains Europe’s premier festival dedicated to reggae music, while increasingly incorporating genres such as rap, hip hop, dancehall, and urban music.

Spanning an area of over 130,000 square meters, the festival serves as a cultural hub that attracts an average of 200,000 attendees globally. The musical lineup includes Major Lazer Soundsystem, Shenseea, Protoje, Lia Kali, Lady Leshurre, and Greentea Peng. The event features five main stages: Sun Stage, Lion Stage, DanceHall, Dub Academy, and Jamkunda Stage.

Beyond music, the festival offers a wide range of activities including workshops, debates, conferences, and wellness sessions such as yoga and dance. The site also includes themed areas, food and beverage services, camping, and recreational activities like parkour, basketball, and graffiti, alongside freestyle rap competitions.
