Rotterdam court sentences brothers for trafficking Ukrainian minors

The Rotterdam District Court sentenced two brothers, aged 24 and 21, to four years and two months and two years respectively, for human‑trafficking offences involving Ukrainian refugee minors aged 13‑17.

The brothers initially hired the victims for cleaning work and to sell vapes, then coerced them into selling underwear, performing webcam sex, offering massages and engaging in prostitution. Some of the abuse was secretly filmed. The operation was run from their father’s house in Maassluis. The court emphasized that the exploitation was carried out through manipulation rather than physical threats and noted that the older brother had taken inspiration from influencer Andrew Tate.
