Rotterdam police investigate glass thrown at mounted officer

Police in Rotterdam are investigating an incident involving a mounted officer during a period of unrest in the early hours of Sunday morning. The disruption occurred near the café 'In de City' after a man refused to leave the area when instructed by authorities.

During the confrontation, a glass was thrown toward a police horse, striking its hindquarters. The impact caused the horse to slip, though it managed to remain upright and sustained no visible injuries or blood loss. Police are currently reviewing surveillance footage to identify the individual responsible for the potential animal abuse.
