Route 226 toll station implements cashless electronic payment system

The La Vasconia toll station on Route 226, located at kilometer 153, has implemented a new electronic payment system and no longer accepts cash. As part of a modernization process led by Corresur, the station has introduced self-service totems to replace manual collection.

Drivers without the TelePASE automatic system can pay using contactless debit or credit cards, or via QR codes through virtual wallets. However, a price distinction has been established: users with TelePASE pay a rate 50 percent lower than those using the electronic totems, effectively making the manual electronic payment double the cost of the automatic system. Corresur recommends adhering to the TelePASE Plus system to reduce costs and avoid stopping at the station.
