Rovatti implements summer work schedule to combat rising temperatures

Rovatti, a company located in Fabbrico, has reached an agreement with union representatives to implement a summer work schedule designed to protect employee health and safety amid rising temperatures.

From June 15 to September 15, the summer schedule will run from 6:00 to 14:00. This arrangement includes two 15-minute breaks per shift, reducing actual working time to seven and a half hours per day while maintaining full eight-hour pay. The company will absorb a total reduction of approximately 30 hours.

Sabrina Giovanelli of Fiom stated that heat peaks are no longer exceptions but the norm, necessitating changes to work organization. The agreement, which is in effect until December 2029, also includes an increase in the fixed holiday bonus to 1,000 euros per year, an average performance bonus of 1,300 euros, and 400 euros in grocery vouchers.
