Rovena Ibrahimi shares five-year journey to motherhood
Singer Rovena Ibrahimi has shared the emotional details of her five-year journey toward motherhood during an interview on Top Channel’s program ‘S’e Luan Topi’. She described the significant challenges faced during this period, noting that while she maintained a strong belief that she would eventually become a mother, her partner had begun to lose hope and accept the possibility that they would not have children.
Ibrahimi revealed that the situation became particularly difficult following the pandemic, as her husband had emotionally surrendered to the idea of not becoming a parent. She recounted the moment she discovered her pregnancy, noting that her partner was initially so skeptical that he doubted the result and suggested she visit a doctor alone to confirm it.
During the pregnancy, Ibrahimi faced medical complications that required her to remain on bed rest for five months. She described her son, Nathaniel, as a “gift from God” and used her experience to offer encouragement to other women facing similar struggles, advising them to maintain their peace and faith.
