Rovinj hosts Grisia open-air art exhibition

The traditional Grisia open-air exhibition is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 23, in Rovinj, Croatia. Established in 1967, the event transforms the steep Grisia street and the area around St. Euphemia Church into a large-scale outdoor gallery.

Organized by the Rovinj-Rovigno Public Open University and the Rovinj-Rovigno City Museum, the exhibition features works from a diverse range of participants, including academic artists, students, amateurs, and children. The display includes paintings, drawings, graphics, photography, sculptures, spatial installations, performances, and video works. Video installations will be hosted on the second floor of the Rovinj-Rovigno City Museum.

The program includes a performance by multimedia artist Dragana Sapanjoš, an archival film projection titled ‘Rovinj Time Traveler’ at the Gandusio Theater, and an awards ceremony in the evening. A main purchase prize of 5,000 euros will be awarded, with the winning work becoming part of the city museum's collection.
