ROW Rybnik speedway club adopts risky transfer plan for 2025 season

Polish speedway team Innpro ROW Rybnik is set to overhaul its Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga roster ahead of the 2025 campaign. President Krzysztof Mrozek intends to sign three foreign leading riders and a Polish U24 rider, a strategy that many fans view as risky because injuries or poor form among the young Polish rider could jeopardise promotion hopes. The club has shown interest in 21‑year‑old Oskar Hurysza, while also targeting Rohan Tungate and other foreign leaders.

Rider Jan Kvech has turned down offers from GKM and Polonia, stating he wants another season in Metalkas 2 to stabilise before returning to the top league. He is in advanced talks with ROW Rybnik, though rival club Krono‑Plast Włókniarz Częstochowa has entered the race for his signature. Contract demands have risen, with clubs now expected to pay at least 600,000 PLN for a signing and 6,000 PLN per point. ROW Rybnik aims to retain Kvech and Nicola Klindta while adding Tungate, despite competition for these riders on the transfer market.
