Rowing teams compete at Princeton Three-Mile Chase

Collegiate rowing teams, including Columbia University and Loyola University, participated in the Princeton Three-Mile Chase held at Lake Carnegie in Princeton, New Jersey.

Columbia University’s heavyweight rowing team, composed of first-year and sophomore athletes, secured a victory in the second round of racing. The Columbia group finished with a time of 13:04.896, narrowly defeating Wisconsin A by 0.648 seconds. Princeton A finished third in the event.

Loyola University’s men’s and women’s rowing teams also competed in the regatta, marking their return to the event after a three-year absence. The Loyola men’s 1v8+ boat placed 44th out of 55 boats with a time of 13:49.718, improving upon their 2023 performance.
