Rox begins local production of Adamas vehicles in Abu Dhabi

Rox has commenced local production of its Adamas vehicle model in Abu Dhabi, following the completion of an advanced manufacturing center utilizing artificial intelligence. The first three vehicles have emerged from the production line, carrying the ‘Made in UAE’ label.

The facility is located on a 10,000-square-meter site within the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD). It is capable of sub-assembly for over 80 types of vehicle components, full vehicle assembly, calibration, and rigorous testing, including rain and driving trials.

Initial production capacity is projected to reach 20,000 vehicles annually by 2027, with long-term plans to scale up to 300,000 vehicles per year by 2030. The project aligns with the UAE’s ‘Operation 300bn’ strategy and the ‘Make it in the Emirates’ initiative, aiming to localize advanced industries and enhance the nation's role in global supply chains.
