Roxanne Ho stars in TVB drama plot involving workplace manipulation counterattack

In the TVB drama ‘Game of Couples’, actress Roxanne Ho plays Mei Kee, who participates in a strategic plot to expose a colleague using workplace psychological manipulation (PUA). By feigning support for the character Hugo, Mei Kee and her ally Xing Ru successfully trick him into leaking company secrets, leading to his dismissal.

In an interview regarding the role, Roxanne Ho stated that her real-life personality differs significantly from her character’s early submissive persona. She described herself as having a strong, proactive nature, noting that she has never personally experienced workplace manipulation. Ho attributed her self-confidence to her mother’s upbringing, which emphasized maintaining inner strength and independence.
