Roxo Sports secures five-year broadcasting rights for Rally dos Sertões
Roxo Sports has been named the official broadcaster for Rally dos Sertões for the next five years. The partnership is set to commence with the 2026 edition of the competition.
The broadcasting operation will cover a 4,000-kilometer course over nine days, producing 60 hours of live footage. To overcome the lack of fiber optic and cellular coverage in the Brazilian sertão, the production will utilize more than 50 simultaneous satellite links and mobile structures for content generation and editing.
Technical features of the coverage include the Roxo Live system, which will be installed in approximately 30 competitor vehicles to allow for real-time signal generation. Additionally, the production will deploy over 20 capture points, including drones and external cameras, alongside three reporters stationed at various locations throughout the race.
