Roxy Music announces Super Deluxe reissue of ‘For Your Pleasure’

Roxy Music has announced a Super Deluxe reissue of their second album, ‘For Your Pleasure’, originally released in 1973. The expanded edition is scheduled for release on November 6 via UMR/Island EMI.

The reissue will be available in multiple formats, including a 3CD+1DVD Super Deluxe Edition, 2CD sets, digital versions, Blu-Ray, and Dolby Atmos. Vinyl options include a standard 140g black double LP and an exclusive blue pearl vinyl edition.

Content for the Super Deluxe package includes the original album, singles, instrumental versions, demos, rehearsals, outtakes, live recordings, and TV performances from 1972 to 1973. It also features a 116-page book with rare photographs and new essays. The Blu-Ray component will include 5.1 surround sound mixes by Steven Wilson, alongside Atmos and stereo mixes of the album and the single ‘Pyjamarama’.

One newly released track, ‘Grey Lagoons – 1971 Demo’ (originally titled ‘The Bogus Man Part 2’), offers a glimpse of the unreleased material. Recorded in the summer of 1971, the demo captures the band's early chemistry featuring Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackay, Brian Eno, Graham Simpson, and Roger Bunn.
