Roy Black’s son Torsten Höllerich plans return to Germany

Torsten Höllerich, the son of late German schlager star Roy Black, has announced that he will move back to Germany after more than two decades living in Colombia. He intends to settle in Emden, Niedersachsen, where a close friend has offered him accommodation. Höllerich’s decision follows a series of personal setbacks: his marriage to Maria Fernanda ended, he lost custody of his six‑year‑old son Dominique, and the inheritance of roughly 400,000 DM from his father has been exhausted. He now survives on occasional translation work and other odd jobs. In an interview he said he will “start again with 50 euros, completely from zero.” While he will leave Dominique in Colombia with his mother’s family, Höllerich says he will maintain regular contact via the internet and visits. Emotional ties to his father’s legacy and the desire to be near Roy Black’s grave in Bavaria also motivate the move.
