Royal Antwerp and Lommel SK pursue major transfer activity

In the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, Royal Antwerp FC is reportedly nearing a significant transfer deal for 20-year-old midfielder Jules Ahoka. Sunderland AFC is expected to pay a fee exceeding 10 million euros to secure the player, who was originally signed for approximately 150,000 euros. While the club was not initially eager to sell, the substantial offer has made the move likely. Antwerp coach Marvin Compper noted that while the departure is a setback, the team remains focused on upcoming challenges, including a match against KRC Genk.

Meanwhile, Lommel SK is actively seeking reinforcements to bolster its squad following a difficult start to its return to the top flight. Club chairman Harm van Veldhoven confirmed that at least two more transfers are planned for the starting eleven. Lommel has reached an agreement with Ajax regarding the transfer of 21-year-old defender Tristan Gooijer, though the deal awaits the player's personal approval. The club is also linked to striker Don-Angelo Konadu from Ajax as it looks to stabilize its performance.
