Oliver Antman completes transfer from Rangers to Anderlecht
Finnish international forward Oliver Antman left Scottish Premiership side Rangers after one season and joined Belgian champions RSC Anderlecht. The move was confirmed by both clubs and Rangers manager Derek McInnes, who said Antman had already travelled to Belgium for his medical.
Anderlecht announced Antman as their fourth summer signing, signing him to a four‑year contract with an option for a fifth year, running to June 2029. Reported fees vary between £3.5 million (about €4.1 million) and €5.25 million, with several sources describing the payment as “more than five million euros”. Rangers recouped the amount they originally paid for the player.
In his 28 appearances for Rangers, Antman scored one goal and provided five assists. Anderlecht, having completed the Antman deal, is also reported to be in advanced talks to sign Czech midfielder Adam Karabec.
