Royal Blood announced as surprise act for Reading Festival

The Brighton-based rock duo Royal Blood has been announced as a surprise mystery act for the Reading Festival. The band is scheduled to perform a 45-minute set at the Gallery stage on Friday at 2:00 PM.

Frontman Mike Kerr described the planned set as having a “brutal” theme, aiming to make the performance “as creepy as possible” by focusing on their heavier tracks. The appearance follows a hiatus from touring, with the band noting they are currently enjoying a return to live performance.

Fans can expect to hear tracks from their recent work, including the single “Ten Over Ten,” as well as established hits such as “Out of the Black,” “Figure It Out,” “Little Monster,” and “Lights Out.”
