Royal Canadian Mint releases Deadpool and Wolverine collectibles

The Royal Canadian Mint, in partnership with Agoro, has released a series of limited-edition gold and silver collectible items featuring Marvel characters Deadpool and Wolverine. The collection celebrates the Canadian roots of the two anti-heroes, noting that Wade Wilson originates from Saskatchewan and James Howlett from Alberta.

The lineup includes a highly limited 1/4 ounce gold collector’s item made of 99.99% pure gold, with only 1,500 pieces minted. Additionally, the Mint is offering 1-ounce silver coins featuring individual designs for Deadpool and Wolverine, with 10,000 of each design available. The silver coins feature the characters against a maple leaf background and include the film quote, ‘Time to give the people what they came for.’

These collectibles are available for purchase through the Royal Canadian Mint’s website, its retail locations in Ottawa and Winnipeg, and its authorized dealer network. The silver coins are priced at approximately $259.95, while the gold version retails for $2,399.95.
