Royal Caribbean alters Navigator of the Seas itinerary due to Hurricane Polo

Royal Caribbean has modified the itinerary for the Navigator of the Seas due to the impact of Hurricane Polo near western Mexico. The seven-night Mexican Riviera cruise, departing from Los Angeles, will cancel its scheduled stops in Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas to ensure passenger and crew safety.

As part of the adjustments, the vessel will replace the Ensenada visit with a sea day and add a stop in Puerto Vallarta on September 29. The visit to Mazatlán has also been moved up to September 28. Royal Caribbean stated that the ship can quickly move away from inclement weather to maintain safety.

Passengers who pre-paid for shore excursions in Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada will receive refunds in the form of onboard credits. This voyage marks the end of the ship's current deployment in the region; following its return to Los Angeles on October 2, the vessel is scheduled to begin a repositioning voyage to Singapore via Japan.
