Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruises Announce 2026-27 Itinerary and Booking Changes
Royal Caribbean International said the Grandeur of the Seas will no longer call at Kralendijk, Bonaire on its January 23, 2027 sailing. The ship will instead dock in Santa Marta, Colombia for a seven‑hour stop, and any pre‑paid shore excursions for Bonaire will be refunded. The change is part of the line’s 2026‑27 Southern Caribbean season, which also includes ports such as Cartagena, Colón, Willemstad and Oranjestad.
Princess Cruises issued new booking policies for cruises booked on or after September 2, 2026. The final payment deadline moves to 120 days before departure, with no grace period. Standard deposits rise to $300 per guest for week‑long cruises and $600 for suites, while longer itineraries keep a 30% deposit. The cancellation fee schedule is adjusted so a 100% fee applies for cancellations made 60 days or less before sailing, replacing the previous 30‑day threshold. These changes take effect for voyages departing January 1, 2027, and later.
