Royal Caribbean announces 2027 cruise sale amid booking price reports

Royal Caribbean has announced a new promotional sale for selected 2027 cruise itineraries, offering up to $1,000 in instant savings, balcony upgrades, and reduced fares for children. The sale, which runs until August 26, includes destinations in Asia, the South Pacific, and Europe.

Specific itineraries include a four-night sailing from Singapore to Penang and Phuket aboard Navigator of the Seas, a seven-night South Pacific cruise from Brisbane aboard Quantum of the Seas, and a seven-night Western Mediterranean cruise departing from Rome aboard Legend of the Seas.

Separately, passengers have reported issues regarding itinerary changes. Some travelers noted that when Royal Caribbean replaced scheduled stops in Labadee, Haiti, with other destinations like Perfect Day at CocoCay, their booking invoices showed unexpected price increases of nearly $1,000. These spikes appeared to stem from the reservation system repricing altered bookings at current market rates and removing original promotional discounts. While some customer service interactions resulted in fare corrections, travelers have been advised to monitor their accounts closely following itinerary updates.
