Royal Caribbean announces 2028-2029 cruise deployment schedule

Royal Caribbean has released its initial deployment schedule for 2028-2029 cruise itineraries. While current bookings are only available through April 2028, new sailings will begin releasing in late September 2026. The upcoming schedule includes Alaska itineraries during the week of September 28, 2026, followed by a portion of European sailings in mid-October, and seven-night summer Caribbean cruises in early November.

The cruise industry is also seeing significant vessel launches. Norwegian Cruise Line has introduced the Norwegian Luna, a Prima-class ship featuring a hybrid waterslide rollercoaster and a high ropes course. Royal Caribbean’s Legend of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, has debuted in the Mediterranean as the first Icon-class vessel to launch in Europe. Other upcoming launches in the sector include new river cruise vessels from Viking, Tui, and Celebrity Cruises.
