Royal Caribbean expands Asia-Pacific operations for 2027-28

Royal Caribbean has announced a major expansion of its operations across the Asia-Pacific region for the 2027-28 season, involving the redeployment of three major vessels to Australia and Asia.

In Australia, the Ovation of the Seas will reposition from Los Angeles to sail from Brisbane starting in November 2027, offering 3- to 8-night itineraries including trips to the Whitsundays. It will join the Anthem of the Seas, which is scheduled to sail from Sydney, and the Voyager of the Seas, which will operate from both Australian homeports before moving to Asia in early 2028.

The Voyager of the Seas will then offer new itineraries from Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, visiting destinations such as Vietnam, Taiwan, and Japan during the cherry blossom season. Additionally, the Navigator of the Seas will be redeployed from the West Coast to Singapore, where it is scheduled to sail year-round from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre starting in October 2026, including short Southeast Asian itineraries to Malaysia and Thailand.
