Royal Caribbean reports record cruise demand and high load factors

Royal Caribbean Group released its second‑quarter results showing that demand for its cruises remains robust despite economic uncertainty and geopolitical tensions. Booking volumes are above last year, the overall load factor reached 110%, and about 2.4 million passengers sailed in the quarter, a 6 % increase year‑over‑year. Chief Financial Officer Naftali Holtz said early bookings for 2027 are already exceeding historical levels.

Consumer‑focused listings also note that the company’s older Voyager‑class and Radiance‑class ships are being offered at low per‑day rates, with some itineraries priced at $65 a day including taxes and gratuities, showing that price‑sensitive travelers can still find budget options despite overall strong demand.
